Castle Innovations — Castle Portal

All Castle services (Nextcloud, Collabora, Authentik, Portal) run on HTTPS with a self-signed certificate. Run the installer once per Windows machine to permanently trust it in Chrome and Edge — no more certificate warnings on any service.

Option A — One-liner (PowerShell)

Invoke-WebRequest "http://192.168.2.200/install-castle-cert.ps1" -OutFile "$env:TEMP\castle.ps1"; Start-Process powershell -Verb RunAs -ArgumentList "-ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File $env:TEMP\castle.ps1" -Wait

Downloads the script over HTTP, then runs it elevated. Click Yes on the UAC prompt.

Option B — Download & Run manually

1. Open http://192.168.2.200/install-castle-cert.ps1 in a browser and save the file

2. Right-click the saved .ps1 → Run with PowerShell → click Yes on the UAC prompt

3. Done — Chrome & Edge will trust all Castle HTTPS services immediately, no restart needed

Firefox users: Firefox manages its own certificate store. Visit each HTTPS service once and click Accept the Risk and Continue. Alternatively, go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Certificates → View Certificates → Authorities → Import and import the downloaded .ps1 file's embedded cert (or ask IT).
